This page describes how Pluto Ads uses data from Meta. The complete privacy policy isn’t published yet.

Data from Meta

A workspace admin connects Meta by logging in with Facebook and granting the permissions Pluto Ads asks for. We then receive and store:

• An access token for the person who logged in, their Meta user ID and name, and the permissions they granted.
• Their ad accounts, with currency, timezone and status.
• Their Pages and the Instagram accounts linked to them.
• Campaigns, ad sets and ads in those ad accounts: names, status, budgets and thumbnails hosted by Meta.
• Ad results (insights) for those ad accounts.

How we use it

We use this data to run Pluto Ads for the workspace: to publish and change campaigns, ad sets and ads when someone in the workspace asks us to, to keep the ad account structure up to date, and to show results in Analytics. The access token is stored encrypted and is never shown in the app or the API.

Deleting it

Disconnecting Meta in Pluto Ads, or removing Pluto Ads in your Facebook settings, deletes the access token. A data deletion request sent through Facebook also deletes your Meta user ID, name and granted permissions. Delete your data explains each way.
